Gathering Materials

Goals: I have a few goals for where we are in our 15% time. Our first goal is to gather the main things that we will need like a weed wacker motor and also a big wheel. The next goal that we have is to start coming up with little things that we will need in order to have the big wheel run.The main goal is to make the big wheel run and be able to go on its own.

Background:  I know from doing a few motorized things like a bike with a motor how to put them together and how to make them work. It is something anyone can do if you have knowledge about putting things together.

Resources: These are the websites that we are using during our research.

1.http://www.instructables.com/id/Motorized-Drift-Trike/:  This website is the basic model of a trike and this is most likely what our project will look like but with a motor most likely right behind the seat.

2.http://www.bikerassine.com/: This website has a video of people actually drifting on a trike but with no motor.

Reflection: Now that we are gathering the things we need in order to do our project we hope that we can get all the materials together before spring break and maybe even start building it before or after spring break. When we have everything the process shouldn’t be to long.
