Research

Goals: We have a few goals for our 15% time. Our first goal is to do more research about making the big wheel motorized and researching the parts we may need to buy. Our second goal is to find the big wheel that we want to use for our project. The main goal is to get the big wheel.

Background: I know from doing a little research earlier that there are big wheels for sale online and they could be used for our project. The big wheel we would have to buy if we wanted the one online.

Resources: These are the websites that we are using for our project.

http://www.urbantrike.com/buy-now/: This is a website that we have looked at to just get an idea of the look of the big wheel that we would want. These big wheels are out of our price range.

http://motorbicycling.com/showthread.php?t=44549: This website has a list of the parts needed from someone that already made a motorized big wheel. It also has drawings that are very helpful.

Reflection: Now that we have done more research and have a list of materials that we need we can start looking for those materials. We hope to gather these materials in the next few weeks before spring break possibly.
