For this week's post, you should describe the 1, 2, or 3 projects you want to pursue in more detail. Take some, or all, of the material in your Design Notebook entry and form it into a post on Blogger.
Remember to use labels for your name and Week 2!
The project that I have chose to make is a suitcase desk. This project is going to be a great project because who doesn't want a suitcase that can not only hold your stuff but also can turn into a desk. I am going to get an actual suitcase that opens and folds flat on any surface. Hence the desk part. And on the inside I am going to use several peices of PVC that lock into each other. Then I am going to have a pocket for folders and papers inside and a velcrow strip to hold a laptop inside. This is the project that I am going to pursue.
ReplyDeleteFor my project i want to make a plate, a fork, knife and a glass. I will use plastic or medal to create these. I will have to melt down the material in order to shape it. The plate will be the easiest to make because it is flat and smooth. Here is a picture of a homemade plate. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-C-fAQpfi_E. Once everything is done being shaped, i would like to paint over each thing. I want them to all match. My design does not need many supplies. Just plastic and or medal, paint, and something sharp to shape my objects.
