Going forward with my 15% Time Project, I am now trying to get use to the app Google Sketch up.
I have downloaded the program and I am trying to become familiar with ways to use it. I am also trying to figure out how I can become fluent to make the designing process before the building of the house easier. There are tutorials that will help me do simple things that can make hard things seem easy. I know that Google Sketch up is a CAD software, which will require to sketch my work on paper or in Notability.
Next steps in this process is going to require being able to put my vision on paper. With my next steps, I plan to sketch the floor of the house on paper and in the Room-planner app. This will make it easier to decide what I want the exterior of the house to look like. The step that will take the most efforts are converting the sketches into software apps such as paper into Room-planner and from Room-planner into Google Sketch up. In the midst of all of the designing I will need to search for and gather materials so that I am prepared for building.
Below are pictures of me trying to become familiar with the google sketch up.
Cool - look forward to seeing what you come up with!
