Journal Entry Week 8

Research designs: I have thoroughly researched, studied, and learned about hockey clocks, the parts, clocks, and overall have a very good understanding of the project.
Come up with ideas/solutions: I have come up with multiple designs but I have narrowed it down to my final design which I feel confident about.
Build a frame and sketch: I have made many detailed sketches of my project on my iPad that helps me visualize my project and see how the parts are going to fit together and how it is going to look.
Evaluate dimensions and size: I have decided that my clock is going to be 20 inches by 20 inches. I have an idea of the other dimensions but will continue my research and development in my sketches.
Share ideas and designs: So far I have shared six design notebooks and have shared my ideas with the founder of the Hockey Stick Clock and with my fellow classmates and Mr. Joslin.
Build clock: This is the last and hardest part of the project. I am starting to gather the sticks so I can start to build the frame.

Since my last journal entry, I have made some small but important steps. I have gathered together 4 hockey sticks. I have also researched the clock parts and the tools needed for the project. I have concluded the dimensions of my project. Lastly, I have made an overall effort to improve my project by research.
