Journal week 1

1. I am still happy with my project I think I may have chosen a challenging one but none the less I am happy.

2. A major road block for me is I'm at a stand still and don't really know what to do next. This is the reason I can't move forward with my project.

3. I think that we should use a small amount of class once a week like we did in the fall semester and completely cut out presentations from. The class over all.

Thus far I have learned what it takes to make multiple types of golf clubs. Iron, drivers, wood clubs etc. wood is a lot more complex than iron because you have to select the right type of wood as well as have great craftsman ship if you want it to be able to perform up to pare.

With and iron made club it is a lot more simple to assemble the materials as well as assemble the. Lub it's self. Machine do. Most of the work for the most part. A number of machine melt and mold the handle and club head while other machines attach the head. At the very end of the assembly line there maybe a person to inspect the finished product.

Week 9

I am constructing a golf club that will have a driver head with a detachable part. The part will detach from the head making the head smaller on the golf club.

I am doing this to make it easier on the golfer who's is using the club. So that he or she will not have to switch clubs every time after driving the ball onto the green, they can simply detach a part and wallah! They have a convenient putter.

This is limiting the amount of times if any the golfer has to pick out a club or putter necessary for a shot. 

This week I've made strides as far as collecting my materials go over the course of a few days I have been able to almost if not all materials needed to begin the process of making the hybrid. Craig in the cage supported me and offered some golf clubs that were in storage. Now I have the clubs I can get started of course the clubs are in pretty much shape but this is needed seeing how they will be used as the test clubs.

Week 6, Tory Miller

As of now theses are the two designs I intend to use for the Hybrid. As shown in the sketch you can see where the driver would detach into a putter. The next steps of actually creating the hybrid are in the works, just need to continue to gather the materials to do so.

I will need a few golf clubs, the golf club could initially be a driver but then be modified to also put by making the head smaller and giving it a flat base versus a round one.
