Journal Entry Week 6

I have made a couple steps to move forward with my project since last weeks Journal Entry. Most importantly, I have contacted the leader and the founder of the Hockey Stick-Puck Clock that I am building. He has given me the sites of where to get the parts he used, helpful hints on building the clock, and more advice on deciding the parts and dimensions I want to use for my personal clock. I have also taken steps by collecting sticks(I now have 3 set aside for my project) and I have sketched what my clock is going to look like. Lastly, I have continued my research on the project and taken steps to improve my overall knowledge on my project.
Even though I have made progress since the beginning of my project, I still have more to go. I have to gather some tools and materials: drill press with a carbide grit hole saw, marine grade plywood and polycarbonate, liquid nails project glue, and lastly the clock parts, all of which I have recorded and are ready to order. I also have to start to make the frame of my project, which will be the first step for my project. After I complete the frame of the clock I am going to order the clock parts. I have a sketch of the frame(see below), but I need to make more sketches so I can really start to visualize what it is going to look like. Finally, there is always more research I can do to improve my intelligence.
This is a sketch of the front of my clock. As you can see, I have a border around the clock and sticks horizontal within them. There are 4 hockey pucks that represent 12,3,6,9. I am very excited to start building!
This is awesome! I can't see the pictures though for some reason. I'd love to see your design.
