Journal entry week 9

My project is building a iPhone 5 case I started with a couple of ideas trying to use wood and make it different. The reasearch I have done makes my project harder every time I have a new idea. Now I am trying a program called sketch up where I can plug in dimensions and shape the drawing. My plan is to send my final desighn to a company that will devolope it through a 3d printer.

My reason for building a iPhone case was becuase I thought it would be easy coming from a back round of construction and carpentry. As I started to look into it, it would turn out that there would be a lot of technology that would end up making it really hard for me. I think I desided to make this is becuase you always have your phone so why not make the case that covers it your own desighn that no one has.

This helps be get better at technology and learn a program that I never would spend time on. After this project I will have a deep understand on how to use sketch up and the 3d printer. The reasearch I am doing is not just useful for school but it will give me knowledge of the program or the printer when someone in the work force ask about it.
