Journal entry week 4

I have come to the final decision to build a model of a bridge. This bridge is iconic to my life because it shortens the trip from the airport to our vacation house tremendously. The views are amazing and the memories are tremendous. The sunshine skyway is 29,040 feet long stretching across the Tampa bay. Working with Mr. Jolsin we decided to make the bridge out of the same materials as in the actual bridge.

This bridge is mostly build out of Steele beams, during the rebuilding they designed the bridge to haverotection from shipping vessels that frequently drive through Tampa bay. This bridge is 90 ft wide with 40 ft four each roadway with a 10 ft median. Obviously I will have to build this to scale because the bridge is over 16 miles long.
